“Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, everyday, something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to continually be part of unanimity.”

Thanks, everyone! My goal for March for Babies.....
Has been met! I am excited. Now for my slacker husband....he needs to get on it. I have bank night tomorrow and he hasn't raised any money. Surely he can raise a little bit. Be sure to give him some words of encouragement if you talk to him. :)
And I just felt like posting some cute pictures of Nolan. Enjoy!

w0000t Amber's Getting Baptized!!!
I couldn't be more proud of my Wife, knowing we will spend eternity in Heaven puts my mind and heart at ease more than anything in this world.
And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also – not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ. (NIV) 1 Peter 3:21.
Now, if she does this, she might have some explaining to do.

Stay Tuned.....New pictures to come!
I have a feeling Nolan and I will have to do a photoshoot later today.
I am so ready for spring!
Quote of the week:
"Sit quietly, doing nothing, spring comes, and the grass grows by itself."
It snowed last week, ridiculous! Bring on the nice weather.....

Cranky Pants
Nolan was soooo cranky today. Something has to be wrong with him, he cried and fussed all day. I missed most of church service standing out in lobby with him. It is so tiring! The only time that he wasn't fussing today, was when we thought he would be the worst. We had a class a church this evening and it did not end until after he bedtime. We were sure that it would be a nightmare. Wrong, I don't think he fussed once. The Lord was working tonight :)
Hopefully cranky pants will be happier tomorrow!

God has plan
I have been trying to decide if I want to watch (or can handle) another baby (haven't found anyone yet), since we need another income. Well, God brought me Maya for three days. I think that it was a sign telling me that I can do it, and this is what I should do. Plus it brought us some much needed money. God has provided for us some much lately, it is amazing. When you call on Him, the Lord is there!

Maya-Day 2
Maya came to visit again today. We had lots of fun. She is so different from Nolan. She is calm...Nolan is not. But, I love him a whole bunch anyway. I couldn't imagine having an "easy" baby, what would I do with my time.
We went to visit Wendy today. It was so nice to get out of the house. I have been home (without getting out) too long. I'll say it again, I am so ready for summer! It is nice to have adult conversations during the day, or actually it is nice to have any conversation (with someone who talks back).
Nolan actually slept at Wendy's house today. I cannot believe it. I think that it is the first time (ever) that he took a nap at someone else's house. It is nice that there was a crib for him to sleep in. So much less stressful, when he is not fussing the entire time.
This is the two playmates yesterday. So cute!

8 Months Old....can you believe it!
Nolan spent the day playing with a friend (Maya). He had lots of fun! I think she did too. It is fun when they get together. They are so close in age that they really enjoy playing with one another. Nolan needs to learn to share, though. Everything that Maya would play with, Nolan would take from her. He even took her pacifier a few times. I wonder what he will do when he has a couple siblings :), I am sure that will be fun....
It doesn't seem like a lot has happened from 7 months to 8, but I guess he has changed quite a bit. He is so close to crawling. I keep saying any day now, maybe one of these days I'll be right. Even though he cannot officially crawl, he can get around very well.
Last night, he tried broccoli for the first time. Much to my surprise he really liked it. I guess he is nothing like his parents when it comes to eating....that's a good thing too! Well, I guess that is all that has changed. My little is baby is going to be a year old before I know it, very bittersweet.

Happy 30th!
Yesterday, we had a surprise party for Uncle Jason. I didn't take one picture, which I am a little bummed about. But, we all had a great time. I think he was pretty surprised too! Happy B-Day Jay!
