I was going to wait but...

I only have 5lbs. to go until I am back to pre-pregnancy weight. I thought about waiting to post until I reached it, but no telling when that will be. I am so excited. I gain the same w/ both (I will not say how much because it was A LOT), but it took much longer to lose it w/ Nolan then this time around. And after I lose the 5lbs. I want to lose many many more pounds so this is definitely not the end. It's kind of the beginning. Yea!

Father's Day

Nolan and Lily made Tyler a very cute present. We are trying to spend as little money as possible, so I really didn't want to buy a gift. Then I remembered that I bought this gift last year for Father's day but never got around to using it. I think it turned out great, and Tyler loved it. It was a very good day. We went to church, played in Nolan's pool, and then spent the evening at Smithville lake. All in all a fun day.
We are very blessed to have Tyler in our lives. He is the best daddy and an awesome husband. Thank you babe for just being you. I love you!

More pictures

In case anyone was wondering... I am absolutely head over heels about this little girl. That is, just in case you didn't know that already. :)

Remember...

Remember this... Now it's this...

Smart Nolan

Nolan is getting so smart. He just makes my heart swell sometimes. We have been working on colors and shapes lately. He has the shapes down, but colors not so much. I have a workbook that we do everyday and some of the activities he has to color in certain shapes.
Well, on our trip to Mom's a few weeks ago he spent much of the time coloring. I just looked at the coloring book a few days ago and almost started crying (just because I love who he is so much). On the pages that he had colored, it wasn't scribbles (although some pages were), he colored in specific things. It looked just like pages from the workbook, but he did it all by himself. I had to call for Tyler to see because I was so proud. I often wonder who Nolan will be when he grows up. I pray that God uses him in extraordinary ways. Goodness, I love my baby!

Sweet baby Lily

I cannot believe my baby is 2 1/2 months old. I love her so very much! What a blessing it is to be able to spend every moment with her. As of right now, it feels like our family is complete and perfect. But, don't quote me on that in a few years...

2 Months Old!

Lillian is such a big girl. Saturday night she slept from 10pm to 6:30am. I woke up before her, how crazy is that. She is growing up so quickly.
She had her 2 month appointment today. The doctor said she is doing perfect.
Her stats are:
Weight- 10.7 lbs. 40th percentile
Height- 23 1/4 inches long 75th percentile
Head- 15 1/4 50th percentile
She can hold her head up pretty well now, and loves to coo and "talk" to us. I cannot believe how blessed we are to have such a perfect family. I love my babies.
She got her shots today and she was not happy. I was about to cry because she
was so unhappy. But, thankfully, she recovered quickly.

Big smiles

Goodness, Lily's personality is shining through. She is such a happy baby. She is always smiling. I love it! What a beautiful little girl.

Nolan's box

We have a wonderful new neighbor. She is a sweet lady named Ann. She invited Nolan over to pick out some of her old moving boxes (how thoughtful is that!) Well when Nolan was sleeping I painted it red and made it into a firetruck (at least tried to make it into one). He loved it! We let him decorate the inside w/ chalk, he had so much fun.

Weekend at Nan & Pops'

We had a wonderful visit to Nan and Pops' house. The car ride there went fairly well. Nolan colored in his coloring book and we sang songs. Lily did ok, but mostly she just wanted out of that carseat.
Nolan loved Pops' tractor, but did not want to go for a ride. Most of the pictures I took are on Nan's camera (you'll need to send those to me, Mom), but here are some cute pictures from our trip.
