My little warrior

Oh my goodness, this boy...He is a beautiful perfect handful of all boy. He was jumping off of a chair the other day saying "I'm Superman", he has never even seen Superman.  He is so wonderful!

My beautiful baby girl.

My birthday

I had a wonderful birthday. Probably my best birthday so far. Tyler really went out of his way to make it special. I woke (at 4:30 because Miss Lily wanted to be the first to wish me a happy birthday, or maybe she just wanted to eat) and found the livingroom covered with streamers. I love birthday decorations so this was very special to me. Tyler took the day off on Friday and we spent the day together as a family. I had to renew my license and I must say I am very happy with my picture. I have had a terrible picture since my last license so I was thrilled with the results of this one. Evelyn and Natalie spent the evening with kids on while Tyler and I went ice skating. It was lots of fun!

Painting

The kids love to paint. I tape paper to the wall and let them have at it. Thankfully the paint blends into the wall color. As long as I keep filling up the paint they are as happy as can be. This really helps when I am trying to get the kitchen clean.

SNOW

Nolan had a blast during the big snow on Christmas. They played outside for a long time. Lily really wanted to join the fun, but I sure she would have thanked if she knew how cold it was. I even joined the fun when it was warmer. It was a beautiful snow.

Christmas

Yea, that is how far behind I am... I am posting about Christmas in the middle of February. :) We had a wonderful Christmas. I think that the best part of our Christmas was finding out we are going to be getting some new babies in the family. We are so excited to meet Jason and Wendy's children that they are adopting. Even though we do not know them yet, we love them very much. They have helped us see what God wants from us and our family.
I bought Nolan and Kaiya pajamas for Christmas. They were pretty cute!
Our Christmas eve tradition is to open one present (an ornament). Nolan loved his ornament. It was a wooden train that we let him paint on Christmas day. I didn't get a picture of Lily's it was a ceramic heart that I painted for her.
Tyler wrapped Nolan a box full of his old Ninja Turtles for Christmas. By far the best gift. He loves his turtles. Of course Lily loved her baby dolls that she got for Christms, but she was a little overwhelmed. We bought a lot less this year and we were extremely blessed because of it. I hope that we can continue to see the true meaning of Christmas instead of the gifts.

Busy, busy, busy!

I am so behind on uploading pictures lately. I think it is just laziness but I am going to say I am just TOO busy. These kids keep me busy from about 6:30 a.m. until bedtime, and after they finally go to sleep I am still trying to clean the house (so far I am way behind on that too). I definitely am never bored, and I love it. They are so wonderful. I have lots to post about...we'll see how far I get before one of them wakes up.
